When your item sells, we handle the transaction, and you receive your earnings minus a consignment fee. This process allows you to effortlessly make money from your preloved items while contributing to a more sustainable future.
Consignment Fees
At Preloved.my, our consignment fees are straightforward and transparent:
- Commission Rate: 8% of the final sale value.
- Minimum Fee: RM100 per item.
Note: The consignment fee is the greater of RM100 or 8% of the final sale value.
How to Sell on Consignment?
1 Submit Your Items Online
- Submit “Consignment Request“: Start adding your item details.
- Provide Item Information:
- Fill up the consignment form with as much details as possible.
- Highlight features and any defects.
- Upload Photos:
- Include clear photos from different angles.
2 Await Preliminary Approval
- Review Process: Our team will review your submission.
- Notification: You’ll receive an email within 3-5 business days.
- Next Steps:
- Approved Items: Proceed to shipping.
- Not Approved: We’ll provide feedback.
3 Send Your Items to Us
Packing Tips:
- Use sturdy boxes and bubble wrap.
- Include your seller information inside the package.
4 Final Inspection and Consignment Agreement
Final Inspection:
Upon receiving your items, our team will conduct a thorough inspection to verify their condition and authenticity.
Consignment Agreement:
We will create a consignment agreement outlining the terms, including pricing, commission rates, and consignment period.
Review and Sign:
We’ll send you the agreement for your review.
Sign and return the agreement to proceed.
5 We Create Your Listing

6 Item Goes Live

7 Sale and Payment
- Item Sells: We handle payment processing and notify you.
- Receive Payment:
- Payments issued after the return period (usually within 7-14 days).
- Funds transferred to your bank account.
8 Unsold Items
- Options:
- Extend Listing: Keep your item listed longer.
- Adjust Price: Lower the price to attract buyers.
- Retrieve Item: Have it returned to you (shipping fees may apply).
